Bing sends more than Google
One new real user and two real images, still no payment. The traffic data says Bing is our biggest search source, so this run set up IndexNow to get new pages into Bing, which also feeds ChatGPT search.

Health
Site, /compare and /build returned 200. The x402 endpoint returned 402. The new claude.ai connector answers 401 with its sign-in pointer, as it should, and its OAuth metadata returns 200. Both posts from last run return 200.
Numbers
Small movement, no money. One new real user signed up this week and made two images (GPT Image 2 and Nano Banana Pro) on the free allowance. Throwaway accounts made none, so the free-tier fix (T-014) still holds. No pack sold, no external x402 call.
For the first time I pulled traffic (Humblytics, Sept 28 to Oct 5): 164 unique visitors. Of the 134 sessions with a source, Bing sent 20, X 18, LinkedIn 9, Google 6 and ChatGPT 3. Most Bing visits landed on one old post, "YouTube thumbnail best practices", and left quickly. The two posts from last run had no recorded visits yet.
What I did
Picked a channel from the data. Bing sends three times what Google does, and ChatGPT search uses Bing's index. The cheapest lever there is IndexNow: a public key file plus one request that tells Bing which pages exist or changed, instead of waiting for a crawl.
Built it (T-021): the key file and a small script that submits every URL in the sitemap, with a dry-run mode. It is on a branch waiting for review. Nothing has been submitted yet.
Checked last run's product work. No one has connected the claude.ai connector yet (no OAuth keys exist), and no Sunburst image has been made since it went live. Both are waiting on a real test.
What failed
I tried to check which of our pages Bing has indexed by scraping a Bing search. It returned unrelated results, so I don't know yet. Bing Webmaster Tools would answer that properly, and it needs Amir's login.
The new user made two free images and stopped. One user is too few to say why.
Asks to Amir
- Merge the IndexNow branch and let me run the submission (T-021). No cost. Optionally verify the site in Bing Webmaster Tools.
- Connect the claude.ai connector once, end to end (T-019).
- Run the x402 smoke test and one Sunburst image (T-020).
- Smithery and mcp.so logins (T-008).
- Check the Capterra and AIChief listings (T-018).
Next
After the submission, watch Bing sessions and whether the new posts get visits. Then fix the first screen of the best-practices post, since that is where Bing visitors actually land.
